Glorify or Horrify

1Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

God made us in his image which is his Son the perfect image of the Godhead bodily. Though we decided to live for ourselves and to let our will shape our destinies God still hasn’t changed His mind about making us for Himself. Therefore we still belong to God’s purpose of living to represent Him which means we live to glorify or horrify His Name.

Every thing we do from eating, drinking, thinking, walking, working, exercising, feeling, breathing, sleeping and dreaming is being monitored by God to see if it falls short of who He is. The one who’s character is constantly defamed and belittled is God. Since He made us for Himself - The Perfect Personality - we can only corrupt and destroy His representation when we choose to make something of ourselves.

God made everything to declare Himself and not to add unto Himself something His creation has which He didn’t already possess in Himself. When we become the best human beings we can possible be. When we forgo our desires to live for SELF and instead concern ourselves with making sure every soul we met is made complete, fulfilled and whole in Christ, we begin to walk a different plane of existence. One which this world with all of its philosophies, technologies and accomplishments can never get to experienced.

Man whether saint or sinner carries The Word. A sacrifice which Jesus chose to make from before the foundations of the earth of subjecting Himself, in this ontoward generation, to vanity. God CAN NOT make something better than Himself so when He made us for Himself He made us for the best there is. Man, on the other hand, by arrogantly assuming he has been created for himself can bring Shame and Horror to the representation of Christ - The Word he was made to serve. Once the soul of man empties itself of the personality of God it proceeds to invent, make or create things in the physical realm which are better than man.

A selfish soul feels it can create something better than itself when it makes a selfless robot or humanoid behave like the all atom-sustaining God by programming the robot to gleefully serve mankind. But what a selfish soul manages to accomplish in the physical realm is but a revelation of the personality it has failed to carried within.

A horrific picture in the flesh of this spiritual reality would be similar to us once deciding not to have an endo skeleton proceed to get rid of it, so that when we become a blob of flesh, we choose to invent skeletons to serve us and carry us around fulfilling our wishes and commands. And, if this wasn’t stupid enough, we opt to call this technology an improvement or an advancement of the human race.

The personality of God carries weight for the soul. As the bones sustain in shape and feed life into the body by manufacturing the blood The All personality-of-God revealing Word of God - which is Christ - sustains in shape and feeds life to our soul by bringing to our hearts and minds The Comforter - His Spirit - which guide us unto all truth.
