“I Die Daily”

What Happens When You Watch

Heaven’s Favorite Soap Opera.

by Zecharias E. Castro

The moment the truth of God hits our inflated heads we ought to agree with God immediately by kicking our former notions and ideas far away where they can never be found.

The apostle Paul who told us “I die daily” also told us “rejoice in the Lord, always and again I say rejoice”. Paul tells us he was able to do this thing of “rejoicing 24/7" through Christ who was the one that gave him strength and encourage him to do so.

In order for the Life of God to be seen flowing out of us. We’ve got to be watching 24/7, in our hearts and minds, the most popular soap opera in heaven “The Days of God’s Life”.

When we watch soap operas we identify with our favorite character. We worry for him/her. We get hopeful for him/her. We get happy for him/her. For that our hour we use all the emotions we can experienced to identify with our favorite character. During that hour everything else might as well be dung, because you are not gonna let anything or anybody get you to miss one single episode. During that hour we can safely say “you die to yourself”. You’re gone! During that hour you’re so engrossed, enraptured and captivated by what is happening to your favorite character, you died to your own concerns.

Paul favorite soap opera was definitely “The Days of God’s Life”. His favorite Character was Jesus. This heavenly Soap Opera played on his heart and mind 24/7. While his soul was in his body(God’s tabernacle), everything he had outside and around his body he consider it to be dung, because he was busy sitting in heavenly places beholding the beauty of our Lord in his spirit. He was so engrossed, enraptured and captivated by Christ, he confessed, everything he got to do, it wasn’t him doing it. But it was Christ, his favorite character, playing out His life in his(Paul’s) own body. I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” - Galatians 2:20
