BEWARE OF BLINDING MIRACLES

Part Three

John 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

John 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

There are basically two ways in which miracles can actually blind you to have faith in God. To have faith in God, by the way, means to trust Him that who He is, what He has and what He does is the best that we can have coming out of our souls. And to know that where Adam fail to keep and maintained intact the pristine revelation of our Maker, Christ came through for us with flying colors. In Christ mankind was redeemed, which means man was saved to fulfilled GODS PURPOSE FOR HIS NAME. We were not created for ourselves but for the image of God. For His Name, for His representation.

We were made to fulfilled Gods purpose FOR HIS NAME not for OUR LIVES. If God is Life, Love and Light then all we do is for Him, through Him and of Him. To say that God is there to help us fulfilled the purpose for our lives is to say the software is there to help the hardware fulfilled the purpose for its existence. The hardware was created for the sake of the software, to carry the programs and execute what the programs tell it to do. Our body, soul and spirit is God’s hardware made for the sake of God’s software(THE WORD OF GOD) to carry the Word and to execute what the Word tells us to do.

NOTHING IS MADE TO SERVE ITSELF BUT FOR THE WILL OF ITS MAKER. Let’s do away with such evangelical hogwash of fulfilling Gods purpose for our lives, and lets do the task the Bible calls us to do. HALLOWED BE THY NAME, let everything we say and do be worthy of His representation. It can only be done if CHRIST is living His life in our soul. Only Christ can live the life of God. So if “I die daily” God gets to live in me everyday.

To believe in God when He does something extraordinary is to say I don’t believe He does the ordinary. This is the first way in which miracles can blind you to God. It is God that faithfully runs the universe on a second by second basis. He keeps the cycles of the seasons. He maintains the orbits of the planets. All that appears normal and ordinary to us, God is running it and managing it 99% of the time. And the other 1% He uses it to do something out of the ordinary to remind us that He is IN CONTROL 100% of the time.

So to tell people to trust and believe God for what he does 1% of the time is to teach mistrust and unbelief in God for the other 99% of the time. We can enjoy the miracles, like the disciples did, but when all is said and done, we should want what the disciples wanted. Which is TO BE WITH JESUS. The crowds wanted more miracles or the ability to perform them, but if you call yourself a follower(a disciple) of THE WORD you will always want to be with THE WORD to let the Word do what He wants, whenever and wherever He wants. That’s treating Him and trusting Him as YOUR LORD.
